A Service featuring readings of the history of salvation beginning with Genesis, and working forward to the Lord's death and resurrection. Historically Holy Saturday was the day of the baptism of the catechumens. Since we have no baptisms scheduled at this time, it is a time to remember, and revel in, our own baptism, by which we gain entrance into the kingdom of God in time and eternity. Let all who are baptized live the baptimsal life of worship, and self-sacrifice.
